Section 50(6) in The Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir
(6)[Eight] [Substituted by the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir (Fifth Amendment) Act, 1963.] members shall be nominated by the [Governor] [Substituted for 'Sadar-i-Riyasat' by the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir (Sixth Amendment) Act, 1965.], not more than three of whom shall be persons belonging to any of the socially or economically backward classes in the State, and the others shall be persons having special knowledge or practical experience in respect of matters such as literature, science, art, co-operative movement and social service.
