Section 23(2) in The Regional Centre for Biotechnology Act, 2016
(2)The Executive Director shall-(a)be the principal executive and academic officer of the Regional Centre;(b)direct the work of the Regional Centre in conformity with the programmes and directives established by the Board;(c)propose the draft work plan and budget to be submitted to the Board;(d)prepare the agenda for the sessions of the Board;(e)prepare reports on the Regional Centre`s activities for submission to the Board; and(f)exercise such other powers and perform such other functions as may be specified by the Statutes.
