- On receipt of a petition of appeal, the Chief Inspector shall, if the appeal is to be heard by himself, at once fix a date for hearing the appeal; and if it is to be heard by the appellate authority constituted by the State Government under Section 20, obtain a date for the hearing of the appeal from that authority.
