21. Salutes on Embarking and Disembarking.
- When the ship, from which a diplomatic, or a Naval, Army or Air Force Officer entitled to be saluted on embarking or disembarking under Regulation 19 shall be either a ship of war not authorised to salute under Regulation 38, or a merchant ship, the senior naval officer may direct the prescribed salute to be fired from any of Indian Naval Ships present.
