Section 40(1) in Telangana Irrigation Act, 1357 F.
(1)It shall be incumbent on every owner whose tanks, kuntas or bunds are situated above an irrigation work to maintain the bunds and water rejecting arrangements of such irrigation sources in a safe and good condition.
