Section 16(2) in The Assam Agricultural University Act, 1968
(2)Removal from membership. - The Board may remove any person from membership of any authority or body of the University on the ground that such person has been convicted of any offence involving moral turpitude ; provided that no order for removal shall be passed against any person without giving him an opportunity of being heard.
