Section 8 in Andhra Pradesh Apartments (Promotion of Construction and Ownership) Act, 1987
8. An apartment to be transferable and heritable property.
(1)Each apartment owner shall be entitled to exclusive ownership and possession of his apartment.(2)Each apartment, together with its undivided interest in the common areas and facilities, shall for all purposes constitute heritable and transferable immovable property:Provided that the percentage of undivided interest in the common areas and facilities appurtenant to the apartment shall not be partitioned or subdivided for any purpose whatsoever unless the property is withdrawn from the provisions of this Chapter.
