Section 20 in Banking Companies (Acquisition And Transfer of Undertaking) Act, 1969
20. References to existing banks from the commencement of this Act.-
Any reference to any existing bank in any law, other than this Act, or in any contract or other instrument shall be construed as a reference to the corresponding new bank in relation to it :Provided that nothing in this section shall apply to an existing bank in relation to any business which it may, notwithstanding the provisions of section 4, carry on.
