Section 53(2) in The Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir

(2)The [Governor] [Substituted for 'Sadar-i-Riyasat' by the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir (Sixth Amendment) Act, 1965.] may from time to time-

(a)prorogue the Houses or either House ;

(b)dissolve the Legislative Assemb1y.
