                                   WPLRT 33 of 2020
                              (Tarapada Ghosh Vs. State of
                                  West Bengal & Ors.)

                 Mr. Mrinal Kanti Ghosh
..... For the respondent no. 4

1. Though the matter is listed today under the heading "To Be Mentioned", but none appears on behalf of the petitioner.

2. Mr. Ghosh, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent no. 4, is present.

3. In course of his submission Mr. Ghosh has handed over the copies of the order dated 19th November, 2024 as passed in OA 960 of 2020 (LRTT) by the West Bengal Land Reforms & Tenancy Tribunal (hereinafter as the said Tribunal, in short).

4. Our attention is drawn to paragraph 6 of the writ petition. It is submitted that before the said Tribunal the notice dated 7th July, 2020 as issued by the Revenue Officer, BL & LRO, Andal, Paschim Bardhaman was impugned and since the said Tribunal initially fixed the date of hearing of the said OA 960 of 2020 (LRTT) on 3rd May, 2021 for admission, the writ petitioner felt aggrieved and filed the instant writ petition with a prayer for expeditious disposal of the said OA 960 of 2020 (LRTT).

5. Mr. Ghosh submits that from the order dated 19th November, 2024 as passed in OA 960 of 2020 (LRTT) it 2 would reveal that before the said Tribunal the said OA 960 of 2020 (LRTT) has already been disposed of. Let the copy of the order dated 19th November, 2024 as passed in OA 960 of 2020 (LRTT) by the said Tribunal be taken on record.

6. It, thus, appears to us that with the disposal of the aforementioned OA 960 of 2020 (LRTT), the present writ petition has become infructuous and thus, we do not find any reason to keep the instant matter pending any further.

7. With the aforementioned observation, WPLRT 33 of 2020 along with all interim applications stand disposed of as infructuous.
