- On the receipt of a report of an accident to a boiler or steam pipe under Section 18, the inspector should with the least possible delay, proceed to the place to investigate the accident. If the report is received by the Chief Inspector he should forward it at once to the inspector within whose jurisdiction the accident has occurred for necessary action.
