                                     Hon'ble Sharad Kumar Sharma, J.

Mr. B.S. Negi, Advocate, for the petitioners.

Mr. N.P. Shah, Standing Counsel, for the State of Uttarakhand.

Mr. Saurav Adhikari, CGSC, for the Union of India.

The petitioners while giving challenge to the impugned order dated 04.07.2019, passed by the respondent No.2, had sought a writ of mandamus with the direction to the respondents to extend the services of the petitioners, on the post of State Coordinator/Data Processing Assistant, in the respondent Department.

When the matter was taken up today, the learned counsel for the petitioners had made a statement at the Bar that the respondents have assured to consider the case and claim of the petitioners for the purposes of extension of their services in the said capacity, and in all probabilities, a favourable decision may be taken by the respondents in the coming future. Hence, he submits, that he may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition at this stage with the liberty reserve for them to file a fresh.

Accordingly, subject to the aforesaid statement, this writ petition is permitted to be dismissed as withdrawn, with the liberty left open for the petitioners to file a fresh, in case if the claim of the petitioners as assured to be considered is not appropriately considered by the respondents within a reasonable time.
