(c)of all the public embankments and water-courses within any tract of country specified in the order of the [State Government] [Words, substituted by the Government of India (Adaptation of Indian Laws) Order, 1937 and the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950, respectively.] and any such tract may contain the whole or portions of any one or more districts;
