Section 208 in Goa Building and Other Construction Workers' (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2008
208. Scaffold supported by building.
- The employer shall ensure at a construction site of a building or other construction work that -(a)no Part of a building is used as a support or Part of a scaffold unless such Part of the building is made of sufficient strength and made of sound material to afford safe support;(b)overhanging caves gutters are not used for supporting scaffold;(c)suspended scaffold is made of in accordance with the relevant national standards before being used by the building workers.
