Section 5 in Assam Co-Operative Societies Act, 2007
5. Age, qualification of a member.
- No person may becomes an individual member of a registered cooperative society unless he is above eighteen years of age, provided that the bye-laws of a society may prescribe a higher minimum age and he is not otherwise disqualified under this Act.
