Section 27(1) in Tamil Nadu Farmers' Management of Irrigation Systems Rules, 2002
(1)The Farmers' Organisation shall open an account in a Nationalised Bank or Co-operative Bank or any Agricultural Co-operative Society in its name and shall be operated jointly by the President/Chairman and one of the Managing Committee member as nominated by the Managing Committee. The Farmers' Organisation shall maintain the cash book and accounts of expenditure with appropriate vouchers and receipts.
