CENTRAL INFORMATION COMMISSION
Room No. 308, B-Wing, August Kranti Bhawan, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi-110066
File No.CIC/LS/A/2011/000798
Appellant : Shri Basudev Jha
Respondent : India Meteorological Department
Date of Hearing : 3.6.2011
Date of Decision : 3.6.2011
FACTS :
Heard today dated 3.6.2011. Appellant not present. The public authority is represented by Shri Sanjeeb Bandopadhayay, Scientist-E & Shri N.S. Dalvi, Administrative Officer (CPIO).
2. The matter, in short, is that the appellant is a retired Assistant Meteorologist-I. Vide RTI application dated 15.9.2010, he had sought information on 10 paras. Shri Bandopadhyay submits that information has already been provided in respect of 08 paras and documents requested for in paras 08 and 10 of the RTI application are not traceable, these being of 1975 vintage.
3. However, perusal of the appeal memo indicates that the appellant has referred to some other RTI application wherein paras had sub paras etc and he has complained of non-supply of information relating to certain sub-paras. We have tried hard to trace any such RTI application in the Commission's records but to no avail.
4. In the premises, we are not in a position to provide any relief to the appellant. The matter is, therefore, closed.
