Section 1 in The West Bengal Irrigation (Imposition of Water Rate) Act, 1974
1. Short title and extent.
(1)This Act may be called the West Bengal Irrigation (Imposition of water rate) Act, 1974.(2)It extends to the whole of West Bengal, except the areas to which the West Bengal Irrigation (Imposition of water rate for Damodar Valley Corporation Water) Act, 1958, applies.
