Section 1 in The U.P. Departmental Inquiries (Enforcement of Attendance of Witnesses and Production of Documents) Act, 1976
1. Short title, extent and commencement. -
(1)This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Departmental Inquiries (Enforcement of Attendance of Witnesses and Production of documents) Act, 1976.(2)It extends to the whole of Uttar Pradesh.(3)It shall be deemed to have come into force on September 17, 1975.
