The brief facts of the case are as under:
2. This Commission had already decided another appeal filed by the same Appellant on the same subject in its order dated 30 January, 2009. In today's complaint, the Complainant has once again sought the Commission's orders for providing certain information concerning his status as a deserter from the Army on account of the Operation Blue Star in 1984. The issues under consideration in this complaint are the same as were under consideration in the earlier appeal which we had decided on 30 Jan 2009. While deciding the appeal, we had directed the CPIO concerned to write to the State Government of Punjab reconfirming the status of the Appellant as a deserter of the Operation Blue Star based on which his name had been included at the level of the integrated army headquarters in the list of deserters of the Operation Blue Star. In view of this, this complaint has already been resolved and, hence, it is filed.
3. With the above directions and observations, we dispose off this complaint.
Copies of this order be given free of cost to the parties.
