(2)The Judge of a Court of Small Causes may transfer to himself any case or proceedings pending before a [Senior Civil Judge] [Throughout the Act for the words 'Additional Judge or Subordinate Judge' wherever they occur the words 'Senior Civil Judge' substituted by Act No.29 of 1997.].
