Section 182 in The City of Nagpur Corporation Act, 1948
182. Power to require removal of nuisance arising from tanks and the like. - The [Commissioner] may, by notice, require the owner or occupier of any land or building to cleanse, repair, cover, fill up or drain off any private well, tank, reservoir, pool, depression or excavation therein which may appear to the [Commissioner] to be injurious to health or offensive to the neighbourhood :
Provided that if for the purpose of effecting any drainage under this section it should be necessary to acquire any land not belonging to the same owner or to pay compensation to any person, the Corporation shall provide such land or pay such compensation.
