Section 12(4) in The Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya Act, 2000
(4)The term of office of the nominated members of the Academic Council shall be four years and may be extended for another term except for those specified in clause (h) of sub-section (2) :Provided that a member of the Academic Council, who is nominated in his capacity, or being the holder, of a particular appointment shall cease to be a member of the Academic Council from the date on which he ceases to be in that capacity or to be the holder of that appointment.
