ORDER
RTI application:
1. The appellant filed an RTI application on 6.4.2011 with the PIO seeking information about tender/facility of generator in the bank. In all, information was sought on 3 points. The PIO responded point-wise on 2.5.2011.
2. The appellant filed his appeal on 11.5.2011 with the first appellate authority (FAA) on the ground of wrong and misleading information given by the PIO. The FAA upheld the reply of PIO on 27.6.2011. The appellant approached the Commission on 9.8.2011 in second appeal.
Hearing
3. The appellant and the respondent were both present at the hearing through video conferencing.
4. The appellant said that he submitted a self-contained RTI application and stated that he has received only part information.
5. The respondent stated that complete information has been provided.
6. The appellant stated that he has not been provided information on points 2 and 3 of his RTI application.
7. It emerged from the hearing that all the points in the RTI application are amenable to be responded to by making available the requisite information. The respondent is expected to provide complete information on the RTI application.
Decision
8. The respondent is directed to provide to the appellant information on all the points in the RTI application within 30 days of the issuance of this order.
Appeal is disposed off. Copy of this decision be given free of cost to both the parties.
