8. Liability to pass typewriting test.
- The candidates, who are appointed to the Senior Secretariat Assistant' Grade on the basis of this examination, shall be required to pass a test in typewriting, if not already done, at a minimum speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi only on computer (35 w.p.m and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word) within a period of one year from the date of their appointment, failing which no annual increments shall be allowed to them until they have passed the said test or exempted under the relevant rules with the approval of Competent Authority.
