Information sought:
The Appellant sought information related to Mr. Dev Sharma Semwal designated as Stenographer in LBSNAA in terms of his 3 years experience certificate to operate 700 lines Electronic Private Automatic Branch Exchange (EPABX); permission letter for obtaining training for 3 years in relation to EPABX Operator; office orders for leave during the period of his training; transcription sheets of the stenography test of all the appointed candidates in the direct recruitment of 2013; relaxation letter to LBSNAA for hiring one reserved candidate (SC) for the post of LDC in year 2013-14; copy of the advertisement for the said post for filling 1 up 1 reserved candidate and copy of age relaxation sort for the candidate who was appointed in the reserved category post.

Complainant: Not present.
Respondent: Gauri Parasher Joshi, Dy. Director & CPIO, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, present on phone. CPIO submitted that appropriate response has been provided to the Complainant. Decision Commission observes from the perusal of facts on record that the grounds of the Complaint are devoid of any merit as CPIO has provided an appropriate reply as per the provisions of RTI Act. Complainant's averment that the CPIO has deliberately denied the information by citing Section 8(1)(j) of RTI Act is untenable as information sought pertains to experience certificates and service records of the third party Dev Suman Semwal as well as transcription sheets of third party candidates.
The Complaint is dismissed accordingly.
