42. temporary appointment of officers.
- Notwithstanding anything in this Act, and until such time as the authorities are duly constituted, the Vice -Chancellor may, subject to the prior approval of the Chancellor, appoint any officer or constitute any Committee temporarily to exercise, perform and discharge all or any of the powers, functions and duties of such Authorities under Act.
