Section 7(1) in Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959
(1)The Government shall constitute, for the State of Tamil Nadu, a Committee called the Advisory Committee consisting of the following members, namely:-(a)the Chief Minister, who shall be the Chairman, ex-officio;(b)the Minister in-charge of the portfolio of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments who shall be the Vice-Chairman, ex-officio;(c)the Secretary to Government in-charge of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments, who shall be Member, ex-officio;(d)such number of non-officials not [xxx] professing Hindu Religion, nominated by the Government, of whom one shall be a member of the Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes;(e)the Commissioner, who shall be the Member Secretary, ex-officio.
