Section 3(3)(i) in Bihar State Universities (Patna, University of Bihar, Bhagalpur and Ranchi) Act, 1960

(i)The first Chancellor, the first Vice-Chancellor, the first members of the Senate, the Syndicate and the Academic Council and all persons who may hereafter become such officers or members, so long as they continue to hold such office or membership shall constitute a body corporate by the name of the University specified in sub-section (1).
