Section 4(1) in Andhra Pradesh Farmers Management of Irrigation Systems Rules
(1)Any person may be nominated as a candidate to fill the office of Member, Managing Committee and President of Water Users' Association, if he is qualified to be chosen to fill the seat under the provisions of the Act. Every nomination paper shall be in Form 3, for Water Users' Association. This shall be presented on or before the date appointed by the candidate or by his proposer in person in Form 4, between the hours specified duly signed by the candidates and by the proposer. The candidate shall sign the declaration on the nomination paper expressing his willingness to stand for the election.
