                     1.          1.       This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. This writ petition has been filed with a prayer to supply reasons of rejection of bid submitted by the Petitioner pursuant to Advertisement dated 28th February, 2023 (Annexure-1) issued by Rourkela Municipal Corporation for providing manpower on contract basis. Petitioner also prays for a direction to award the tender in its favour.

3. Upon hearing learned counsel for the parties and on perusal of record, this Court finds that the Petitioner can download the reasons of rejection of its bid from the website provided in the Advertisement dated 28th February, 2023 (Annexure-1). Petitioner has also submitted an application under the Right to Information Act, 2005 for supply of information stating the reasons of rejection of its tender document.

4. Since the bid of the Petitioner has been rejected, as submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner, the prayer for awarding contract in its favour does not arise.

5. In that view of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with an observation that if so advised, the Petitioner may redress its grievance in accordance with the procedure provided in the Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) itself.

Issue urgent certified copy of the order on proper application.
