Section 18(1)(a) in Tamil Nadu Land Improvement Schemes Act, 1959

(a)sanction the scheme with or without modification: Provided that a scheme prepared in pursuance of a direction under subsection (2) of section 15 shall not be sanctioned by the Land Improvement Board, but shall be submitted to the Government for their sanction; or
