Section 8 in The West Bengal Housing Board Act, 1972
8. Cessation of membership.
- If a member, -(a)tenders his resignation in writing to the State Government, or(b)is absent without the permission of the Board from all the meetings of the Board for a period of three successive months,he shall cease to be a member.
