Section 208B(2) in U.P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Rules, 1952
(2)Immediately on receipt of the application and the bond, the Sub-Treasury Officer shall verify the fact relating to stop from the relevant registers and after recording the result of such verification on the application return it along with the bond to the Assistant Collector. In case the bond is found free from stop, the Sub-Treasury Officer shall record a stop and the words "Transferred to the State Government under Zamindari Abolition Rules 208-A" against the entry of the bond in the relevant register before returning the application and the bond to the Assistant Collector.
