Section 55(3) in The Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats And Industrial Townships Act, 1965
(3)The Collector shall, within ten days of the receipt of a requisition under subsection (2), convene a special meeting of the Council:Provided that, when the Collector convenes a special meeting, he shall give intimation thereof to the President.
