Section 11(i) in Andhra Pradesh Metropolitan Planning Committee Act, 2007
(i)to ensure that each Panchayat or Nagar Panchayat or Municipality or Municipal Corporation in the Metropolitan Area prepares a Development Plan for the financial year which shall be consolidated into the Metropolitan Draft Development Plan and shall be submitted to the Government for incorporation into the State plan;
