Section 1 in The Delhi High Court Act, 1966

1. Short title and commencement.

(1)This Act may be called the Delhi High Court Act, 1966.
(2)Section 17 shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint; and the remaining provisions of this Act shall come into force at once.
Section 17 enforced w.e.f. 1-5-1967, vide G.S.R. 508, dated 11-4-1967, Gazette of India, Pt. II, Section 3(i), p. 563.
