Section 85(1) in The Medicinal And Toilet Preparations (Excise Duties) Rules, 1955
(1)Every licence granted or renewed under these rules shall be in such one of the proper forms of licence as may be appropriate, shall have reference only to the premises, if any, described in the licence, and shall be for a period not exceeding one year but in no case shall such period extend beyond 31st March nest following the date of commencement of the licence.
