Section 17(1) in Assam State Acquisition of Zamindaries Act, 1951
(1)An appeal, if presented within 60 days of the date of order shall lie against any order of the Compensation Officer passed under sub-section (4) of section 16, to the District Judge of the district in which the estate or a major portion thereof is situated.
