Section 26(1) in Adichunchanagiri University Act, 2012
(1)The Research Council shall be the Principal Research Committee of the University and shall provide the larger holistic vision of the kind of research to be undertaken by the University, including prioritization of the research areas. This Council shall, subject to the provisions of this Act, the Statutes, Regulations and the Rules, co-ordinate and exercise general supervision over the Research and innovation polices of the University.
