Section 12C(5) in Himachal Pradesh University Act, 1970
(5)The Vice-Chancellor shall, either himself or through any officer of the University authorised in writing by him, convene the meeting of the Executive Council, the Academic Council and the Finance Committee and shall perform all such acts as may be necessary to carry out the provisions contained in this Act, the Statutes, the Ordinances and the Regulations and to give effect to the decisions of the said authorities.
