66. Recording of date etc., in warrant on prisoner's admission into prison.
- The date of a prisoner's admission into a prison and the serial number given to him shall be endorsed on his warrant and signed by the Assistant Superintendent or the Jailor so authorised. The warrants shall be arranged according to serial numbers. They shall be kept in a locked chest, the key of which shall be kept by the Assistant Superintendent or the Jailor so authorised. In all prison records and documents, both the name of the crime and the section the Indian Penal Code, or other enactment shall invariably be given.
