(2)The Municipality may, with the approval of the State Government, make over the trunk-sewers, sewage treatment plants, pumping stations and other materials and things appurtenant, thereto to any agency belonging to the Government or a statutory body, and it shall be lawful for such agency to exercise control over all such items for their maintenance and developmenl.
