                                    ORDER

1. The appellant filed an application under the Right to Information Act, 2005 (RTI Act) before the Central Public Information Officer (CPIO), M/o Railways, Railway Board, New Delhi seeking information on various points, including, inter-alia: (i) what are the DAR action pending against the appellant; and (ii) status of his attendance, etc.

2. The CPIO responded on 01.12.2016. The appellant filed the first appeal dated 30.01.2017. Thereafter, he filed a second appeal u/Section 19(3) of the Page 1 of 3 RTI Act before the Commission requesting to direct the CPIO to provide the sought for information.

Commission observation:

3. The appellant is seeking withdrawal of the case vide his letter dated 30.03.2019. The written submissions are taken on record.

4. The appellant vide his letter dated 30.03.2019 informed the Commission that he does not want to pursue the present appeal and has decided to withdraw the present appeal.

Decision:

5. The appeal is hereby dismissed as 'Withdrawn'.

6. Copy of the decision be provided free of cost to the parties.
