Section 99(1) in The Orissa Local Fund Service (Pension) Rules, 1980
(1)Where the 'Executive Officer of concerned Council has received an intimation about the death of an employee while in service he shall ascertain whether any death-cum-retirement gratuity or family pension or both is or are payable in respect of the deceased employee.
