Section 115(b) in Police Regulations, Calcutta, 1968
(b)Some relative or other person familiar with the deceased shall, if possible, accompany the deadbody to the morgue and also be present at the post-mortem examination. When this is not possible there shall be noted on the challan "relative or friend not known" or "relative or friend not willing to come" as the case may be.
