2. Definitions
.-(1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,-(a)"Act" means the Competition Act, 2002 (12 of 2003);(b)"Commission" means the Competition Commission of India established under sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Act;(c)"Fund" means the Competition Fund constituted under sub-section (1) of section 51 of the Act;(d)"Form" means Form annexed to these rules;(e)"Schedule" means the Schedule to the form annexed to these rules;(f)"Year" means the financial year beginning on 1st April and ending on 31st March of the year immediately following.(2)The words and expressions used in these rules but not defined shall have the same meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
