The petitioner is the widow of late Shri Unnikrishnan who died on 01/03/1995. He belonged to Parayan Community. In the wedlock, they have two children, Vishal Lal and Vishna. The petitioner is now seeking for a direction to issue caste certificate of her daughter who is studying in Std.XI. She had submitted Ext.P6 request for the said purpose. Aggrieved by the delay on the part of the respondents in issuance of the caste certificate, this writ petition has been filed.

2. The learned Government Pleader on instructions submitted that the application has not been received so far.

3. Since there is a controversy regarding the receipt of the application, it is only proper that the petitioner files a fresh application with proper details. If such an application is filed within a period of one week, the first respondent will consider the same and after due enquiries it will be seen that the certificate is issued, in accordance with law, as early as possible, at any rate, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this Judgment.

The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
