Section 34 in The Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University Act, 2007
34. Dismissal, removal, reduction or termination of services of staff of the University.
(1)No officers or employees or member of the teaching, non-teaching and other academic staff of the University shall be dismissed or removed or reduced in rank except after an inquiry in which he has been informed of the charges against him and given a reasonable opportunity of being heard in respect of those charges.(2)An appeal against an order of dismissal, removal or reduction in rank under subsection (1) or of termination of service shall be made to the President within ninety days from the date of communication of such order and the decision of the President in such appeal shall be final.
