Section 490 in The Bombay Provincial Municipal Corporations Act, 1949
490. Certain Acts to cease to apply to City. - [The Gujarat Municipalities Act, 1963 (Gujarat 34 of 1964), and the Gujarat Panchayats Act, 1961 (Gujarat 6 of 1962)], shall cease to apply, except as hereinafter provided, to any area included in the City.
